Valentine’s Day with a distant lover
Distances detach lovers but love stays on till eternity. Your love may be miles and miles away from you but you would still want to make the day special for your love . You can’t embrace your love or you may not see your beautiful lady blush on Valentine’s Day but still you can make her realize what you feel for her.

Love poem
I would suggest that you post a hand made greeting card to your love. Drawing does not matter so your not being a good artist is no problem. The words that you write on the card should come straight from the heart. True love can make anyone a poet! Think about all that that you feel for him or her and write a love poem and post it. You may even go in for sending an electronic greeting card through Internet but don’t forget to add a few words from your heart .
Bouquet
Red roses on Valentine’s Day say more than your words could say. Shop online for a lovely bunch of roses and get it delivered at the work place or home. Order the bouquet in advance so that it reaches in time. Let the fragrance say you care and the roses say you miss.
Gift basket
Your gift hamper could contain little things that would make him / her feel special and connected to you. Send some candy hearts, chocolates, a framed picture of you two and a CD containing romantic songs that you both love to listen
A special wish
Saying “I Love you” or “Happy Valentine’s Day” is common, say something different and unique. I thought of certain lines but chose not to mention because the words that come from your heart would mean much more than those that would come from my write up. Call up your partner as the clock strikes12. Let your partner feel that you have been desperately waiting for the moment to arrive.
Phone call
You may set up a call with your partner in the evening. Celebrate the evening with your love over the phone. I would suggest , if possible , give calls every hour or send love messages, but mind you, don’t bother your partner while she / he is on work.
Internet and phone has been able to bridge distances. You don’t have to feel sad or lonely if your partner is away. He /she is just a phone call away. Touch your mobile screen and get connect to your love and make the day special.
